Community Job Fair

One of these factors is job loss.

Many in our city are still battling the emotional stress and burden of job loss.

To help connect the staggering number of individuals without jobs with employers, Journey Bible Church in Olathe is hosting a Community Job Fair on May 27. According to job fair planners, employers are ready to hire, and there’s never been a better time for job seekers to get into a new career!

Please, share the following information with friends and family who are (or who may know of someone who is) looking for jobs:

This Community  Job  Fair  will be unique.

Journey Bible Church says the job fair is a friendly environment that will help job  seekers get face-to-face interviews with hiring managers.

“We will celebrate each time someone in the room gets to ring the ‘opportunity bell’ because they just got a new job,” said Brandon Champagne, Journey Bible Church job fair coordinator.

Job seekers will also benefit from access to on-site coaches who will review resumes and help them feel more confident for in their next interview.

The job fair will also be disability and  fair  chance friendly, with Spanish interpreters on site as well!

Registration for the event is required, and  job seekers should visit journeybible.org/jobfair to register.
